What do we offer?

Traditionally, computerised pilot aptitude tests are completed on-site. This means that candidates have to visit your organisation to participate in a test, requiring more manpower, more space and in most cases, monetary contributions by either your organisation or the candidate.

SurePilot provides online pilot assessment solutions. What does this mean exactly? We enable assessors to assess candidates from the comfort of their office chair and enable candidates to participate in these assessments from the comfort of their home. Our online pilot assessment solution is delivered over web browser as a reliable and dependable lightweight software package that doesn't need to be installed or downloaded. Assessors are provided with an all-in-one solution that caters for the entire assessment process, from invitation to results analysis, accessed through an easily-navigable portal. How does SurePilot work?

SurePilot follows a linear and logical process.

Once established with an account, assessors and candidates are provided with portals customised to their requirements. Candidates are provided with all information required to participate in the testing process in a succinct, concise and easy-navigable format. Tests are completed in order and all must be completed within six hours, enabling SurePilot to effectively and objectively assess candidate performance.

How cost-effective is SurePilot?

Okay, so you've discovered that SurePilot is an exceptionally (and uniquely) capable all-in-one solution to assessing candidate potential at all career levels. Providing what we call the modern method of pilot assessment (it's fast, easy-to-use, easily deployable and reliable) will surely be an expensive proposition.

Actually, SurePilot is the most cost-effective solution available to assessing pilots. Our pricing is straight-forward and simple, we charge a flat fee per assessor per month and there are no complex legal contracts to sign. This flat fee includes everything, and by everything by we mean exactly that. Invite as many candidates to assessment as your human resources department can handle.

Previously candidates being invited to traditional assessments have been asked to make a monetary contribution to the organisation assessing them to cover the costly process of implementing a computerised pilot aptitude test. This can be considered unethical, immoral and in some cases present a barrier to entry for aspiring pilots or recruitment candidates.

SurePilot is different. Whilst we collect a small fee from candidates participating in a SurePilot test, our fee pricing is amicable, respective of circumstances and ensures that there is no barrier to entry for all candidates, aspiring or qualified.

We handle the collection of this fee from candidates by requiring that each purchase an account, valid for six months, to enable participation in the SurePilot test. This fee request is presented to the candidate within the automatic invitation email delivered to them when you invite them to assessment.

To put this in to perspective, our pricing is up to ten times cheaper than any other solution provided currently available.

Do we require any special hardware or software to implement SurePilot?

Simply put, no.

SurePilot is an all-in-one solution delivered through a web browser, with both assessors and candidates being provided with a portal to access relevant functions without requiring the installation of any software.

No special hardware is required either, candidates require a keyboard and mouse to participate in the SurePilot testing process. Assessors can access the SurePilot portal on desktop and laptop computers with suitable web browsers (Google Chrome is recommended), plus the portal can also be accessed on iPad and other suitably-sized tablet devices.

We're happy to provide recommendations on suitable tablet devices for getting the most out of your SurePilot implementation. If you would like help, please contact us.

We would like to implement SurePilot, how can we get started?

Get started with SurePilot in under 5 minutes and commence the modern method of pilot assessment almost immediately.

To start inviting, assessing and analysing the performance of candidates you will require an assessor account. One assessor account is suitable for each organisation and is allocated to an individual responsible for facilitating the assessment of individuals within your organisation.

Our pricing is straight-forward and simple, we charge a flat fee per assessor per month and there are no complex legal contracts to sign. This flat fee includes everything, and by everything by we mean exactly that. Invite as many candidates to assessment as your human resources department can handle.

SurePilot is an automated system, both initial registration for an account and billing on a monthly basis is therefore handled automatically. PayPal facilitates our online payment system, accepting credit and debit card payments. After initial registration, your organisation will be billed on a monthly basis, however you are welcome to cancel your account at any time.

If you would like to discuss alternative means of payment, please contact us.

I am a candidate, what can I expect from the SurePilot testing process?

Congratulations on being invited to complete an assessment with SurePilot. Our online pilot assessment solution is being used by your assessor (or organisation) to assess your potential to either successfully complete a flight training course, or if you are an experienced pilot, to assess your current abilities and discover what you are capable of achieving.

If you haven't yet, you will receive an email inviting you to purchase an account from SurePilot which will enable you to participate in the testing process. Testing is completed within a web browser using a keyboard and mouse, that's all you'll need.

Once you have purchased an account and then logged in (SurePilot is an automated system), you will have exactly six hours to complete all five tests presented to you. Don't panic, all instructions are provided to you prior to the commencement of each test. Unfortunately we will not provide extensions to candidates under any circumstances, so be sharp and read through the instructions thoroughly.

Each test assesses multiple abilities and on the completion of all five, you will be presented with an overview of your performance plus both raw and aggregated data in graphical, textual and downloadable PDF format. Your results will be valid for six months (within this period, you may not participate in any SurePilot tests) and you may download a 21-page report in to PDF format to store your results offline or if you wish, to provide to your human resources department.

If you have any queries regarding your SurePilot assessment, please contact your assessor using the email address provided to you in your invitation email.

I am a candidate, how much will SurePilot cost for me to participate?

We collect a small fee from candidates participating in a SurePilot test, although unlike traditional computerised pilot aptitude tests that can equate to the investment of over two-hundred pounds, our fee is considerably lower. We consider our fee pricing to be amicable and respective of circumstances. Fee pricing is set at a level that limits any barrier to entry for all candidates, aspiring or qualified.

The fee collected by us will provide you with access to a customised portal enabling you to participate in the SurePilot testing process and will also enable you to retrieve and analyse results as both raw and aggregate data with the option to download both graphical and textual information in to a detailed 21-page PDF report.

Is SurePilot provided in different languages?

SurePilot is currently not provided in different languages.

The International Civil Aviation Organisation requires all Air Traffic Controllers and Flight Crew Members engaged in or in contact with international flights be proficient in the English language as a general spoken medium. We therefore assume that all candidates being assessed by your organisation comply with this decree and as such have developed the SurePilot testing process with the assumption that all participating candidates have an adequate level of understanding of the English language.

Houston, we have a problem!

If you have any queries as an assessor or a candidate please contact us.

Candidates, please do not use the assessor email address to request support. We will not be able to forward your emails or answer them.
